Dane

Dane
Dane was born in the Pacific, in Fiji, but grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. He has been passionate about health, sports and fitness for most of his life and is currently a semi-professional triathlete, competing in Ironman events around the world. Dane believes that you should strive to get the most out of each and every workout, and he relays that to the participants in his classes.

Qualification Highlights
• Qualified physiotherapist - Auckland University of Technology
• 1st Overall for Hong Kong ITU Age Group Triathlon 2007
• 1st in age group for Hong Kong ITU Triathlon 2008
• Qualified for Ironman World Championship
70.3 in 2008 and 2010
• 2nd in age group in Ironman 70.3 Singapore Triathlon in 2010
• 1st in age group Philippines ITU Triathlon 2010

• Exercise, travelling, movies, good wine and food, and sharing this with good friends


Training Philosophy
To achieve your desired goal, training should not only be for the sunny days when you feel like it. You need to train on a regular basis and work through it even when the going gets tough. Sometimes the toughest workouts can be the most rewarding!
