After initially pursuing weight training for a number of years, Gary discovered Thailand's national sport of Muay Thai boxing. He became hooked, dedicated all of his training to this sport and has been immersed in it since 2000. Gary trained in the UK under the famous Master Sken Kaewpadung, has fought in a number of amateur competitions and completed his gradings up to Brown 3. After reaching a personal peak, he began conducting his own classes in Liverpool, UK. After three years of teaching, he moved to Thailand to continue learning and training with the best in the world. Two and a half years of training and fighting around Thailand later, he is now in Hong Kong to pass on the art of Muay Thai to everyone at Pure.
