Xiomara
|
As the Body and Mind Group Fitness Manager for Latin America's premier club fitness chain from 2005-08 and Les Mills National Trainer in Colombia from 2006-08, Xiomara is a deeply committed and passionate professional. Always interested in deepening her knowledge and teaching others to look, feel and become better, she draws upon her studies in Psychology to engage those she teaches. Due to excellent performance at her previous employer, she was awarded best group fitness instructor several times.
Additionally, she has been profoundly involved in health and wellness activities. She began a career as group fitness instructor in Spinning classes, became a Certified Mad Dog Instructor, and inspired by her interest in Body and Mind classes, subsequently studied Pilates and Yoga.in USA and Colombia. She has also studied Ballet, Modern dance and Flamenco.
In 2005, she was selected to be part of the initial group of instructors participating in the first training module of Les Mills Colombia. She went on to become one of the 3 first National Les Mills Trainers, a position that has given her the opportunity to participate in numerous seminars, workshops and summits as a Les Mills Trainer and Presenter in Argentina, Brazil and New Zealand.
