|
Born in El Salvador, Central America, Cristo grew up with music and dance in his life. With his mother being a professional dancer and his father an athlete, he has been around gyms and dance floors all his life. Cristo's formal training took him to Sydney, Australia where he developed a distinctive style and worked as a professional dancer, choreographer, artistic director, costumer and stylist in shows for such reputable clients as Coke, Optus, HSBC and many others.
His repertoire covers a spectrum of dance styles including Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Contemporary and all Latin styles such as Salsa, Meringue Cha Cha and Tango. This versatility and multicultural exposure has taken him around the world on tours in Singapore and Bangkok, and participating in Bollywood movies, India Fashion week in Mumbai and New Delhi, Theatre in Tango Masculino Sydney, as well as landing him one of his current roles as Head Choreographer for the Sands Casino and The Venetian Casino in Macau.
He is also a professional fitness instructor and personal trainer, holds a Marketing and International Business Studies degree from Murdoch University in Perth, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
Cristo is thrilled to share his passion for dance with beginners and believes that with love, laughter and fun in your heart, you can be your highest self anywhere you go.
