ALL CLASSES |  BEGINNERS |  INTERMEDIATE |  ADVANCED |  ALL LEVELS

Beginners
This level is suitable for people who are relatively new to group fitness classes and in average physical condition. Expect basic choreography and moderate intensity.

Intermediate/Advanced
This level is suitable for those with a background in any sport or who are experienced with group fitness classes. Expect a focus on coordination and control of your body, more complex choreography and faster tempo of music.

All Levels
This is suitable for all fitness levels. No skills are required - variations in moves are offered allowing you to work according to your own fitness level.

Class Descriptions

Abs, Butts & Thighs
All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone your lower body. Some classes use bands, tubes, weights or bars but equipment is always optional –every exercise can be done with or without.

Aero 70s
A "blast from the past" aerobics class full of "Saturday Night Fever" flavour and all kinds of retro music from the 70s. This funky-town class is a great workout for all fitness levels – and a fine tribute to the fancy moves and rhythms of those dearly-departed-but-never-forgotten disco days!

Aero Tango
A combination of elegant tango steps and body sculpting aerobic moves. The pace is continuous and upbeat to keep the heart pumping, giving you an all-over workout and thorough enjoyment of hot Latin music rhythms. Let the passion of Argentinean tango carry you away to the land of fitness and fun!

Ashtanga Yoga
All levels. A flowing sequence of postures that are synchronised with the breath aiding detoxification and purification of the body.

Ball Blast Combo
Hip/thigh toning exercises and Pilates core control exercises using a stability ball and other equipment. All levels of fitness welcome.

Belly Dance
The Movement! The Music! The Experience! The Workout!Move like never before to hypnotic Middle Eastern sounds.Suitable for everyone, come along and learn how to Belly Dance with easy-to-follow movements and choreography that is developed step-by-step to create a fun & exciting routine that gets your heart pumping and your torso curving.

BODYATTACK®
All levels. Talk about getting fit! BODYATTACK® is a fast track to your personal peak condition. High powered music fires up a full-on workout, with contrasting styles and tempos adding novelty and variety to one of the best-loved programmes on the planet. Plenty of easy-to-follow options allows you the freedom to adjust your workout intensity, staying low in the moves for a lower impact class or going higher for the full cardio blast.

BODYBALANCE®
All Levels. BODYBALANCE® combines the fundamental principles of yoga, Pilates and tai chi for a great holistic workout set to inspirational music. BodyBalance improves flexibility, joint mobility and balance for a leaner, stronger body!

BODYCOMBAT®
All Levels. BODYCOMBAT® is a fiercely energetic program inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. You strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. There is no one-to-one contact or sparring and no equipment is necessary.

BODYJAM®
All levels. BODYJAM® is on the move and so will you be when you teach or join our latest class - a new format delivers a great, "doable" class with a cool, modern feel and a huge double dose of exercise and fun. Jammers will master the moves in double-quick time and then bust out in a crazy orgy of attitude and style.

BODYPUMP®
All levels. Using barbell and weights, BODYPUMP® is an awesome resistance training workout that improves strength whilst toning and shaping your muscles. The workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. You can adjust your own weights for a personalised workout.

BODYSTEP®
All levels. BODYSTEP is the ultimate butt and thigh workout designed by the worlds leading choreographers. It\'s fat-burning with a difference! BODYSTEP caters to the beginner through to the athlete using adjustable steps to tailor your workout.

Bollywood
From the exotic land of India, this class serves up a blend of jazz classical Indian and Bangrah – you’ll have fun in these high-energy dance classes where the girl always gets her guy. Like a love story from the most flamboyant Bollywood films, the moves are over-the-top and the atmosphere is electrifying.

Boot Camp
All levels. Military exercise training comprised of circuit training with drills that include jumping jacks, push-ups, squats, lunges and complete core training. Popular the world over to both results-driven people and those with busy schedules who need to pack a hard workout into a short time. You will never get bored as the workout changes every day but the intensity stays the same. Build lean muscle tone while using the aerobic elements to improve your physical conditioning. This is the total body workout like no other!

Boxing Circuit
All levels. A boxing-style workout that includes impact work.

Broadway Jazz
Combining aerobics and jazz, this class incorporates the stylised choreography and dance interpretation of famous songs from all the classic Broadway musicals – think "Chicago" and other such cabaret-type productions.

Capoeira
A Brazilian martial art developed by the African slaves and natives of Brazil over 400 years ago. Capoeira is a combination of self-defense, dance, acrobatics and live music woven in to a vigorous game of ritualised combat. Capoeira is where the curious become viewers and viewers become participants. A great workout for all fitness levels.

Cardio Combat
Circuit interval training involving interval style military combat moves taken from tai-chi and intensive physical exercises. The moves make for a highly effective routine that will absolutely improve your physical condition, both cardio and muscle tone.

Cardio Dance
A dance-based cardio class where the music is high and the energy hits the sky! Mixing basic high-low movement with simple dance choreography for a sizzling experience guaranteed to make you sweat!

Cardio Rhythms
Cardio Rhythms is a fusion of Latin and international music & dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective workout! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps.

Core Training
A class designed specifically to work on the core/abdominal area, incorporating various exercises and equipment.

Cycle
A cardiovascular workout on a stationary bike. All classes are 45 minutes unless specified.

Dance Basics 101
Suffering from two left feet? This class is for you – a warm and welcoming session that teaches the basics of different dance styles. A dash of jazz and a hint of hip hop with much more to explore. Fill your body and soul with the freshest moves and the hottest beats in a beginner-friendly, encouraging environment for all!

Dance Fitness
All Levels Dance your way to total body fitness with fun, high-energy dance combinations that include Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, African and much more! The class starts with a non-stop cardio section and is followed by dance exercises that are designed to tone and strengthen your abdominals, legs and arms.

Dance Groove
All levels. Street style dance class.

Dance Tech
This class introduces the basic techniques and fundamentals of jazz dance including: warm-up, across the floor, choreography and cool-down.

Dance Workshop
Always innovative, super entertaining and ultra-dynamic – learn new moves and dance techniques with the expert choreography and direction from highly experienced guest instructors.

Disco Spin
A stationary cycle class injected with the infectious sound of disco!

DJ Dance
High-energy dance class spurred on by the grooves of a live DJ. Come and enjoy your favourite tunes – from pop, Hip Hop to R&B, it’s pure entertainment!

Double Step
Step class using two steps instead of one. Double the fun! Intermediate to advanced participants only.

Foster the Body
Marvin`s signature cardio-sculpt conditioning class designed to re-shape and tone the body by utilising functional, plyometric and core stability techniques. This multi-faceted class incorporates basic weights and a variety of studio equipment to help foster your physique.

GROUP X INTRODUCTION WORKSHOP
The Group X Introduction workshop is comprised of three Group X sampler classes for cardio, strength and mind/body training. It's the ideal chance for you to get a taste of our most popular and very diverse Group X programmes. Orientation features an introduction to various classes such as Body Pump (strength), Body Combat (cardio) and Yoga (mind/body). Our instructors will lead discussion on proper equipment set-up, technique and the benefits of exercise, plus demonstrations and trial sessions will be incorporated as part of this interactive workshop.

Hatha Yoga
All levels. Hatha yoga is normally used to describe a blend of yoga styles, the class format varying by teacher.

Hip Hop
You’ve seen the clips from Usher, Janet and Missy – get the same funky moves fast and furious with full-on dance sequences that will make you feel like the hottest booty mamma or dancer Papi out there!

Hip Hop Theatre
An all-level dance class that serves up the latest moves on the hip hop scene! Fun, sexy and upbeat, this session will get you high with energy and have you looking and feeling like a hip hop dancer in no time.

House dance
A dance-style class with moves that groove to all your favourite house music hits. Funky, edgy, invigorating and oh-so-hot, you’ll move in ways that your body has never moved before with our hard-core choreography.

Intro Capoeira

Jazz
All Levels. Be it Jazz, Jazz Funk, Jazz Lyrical or Modern Jazz, each class will have you moving to amazing chorography like you’d see in a Broadway Musical or replicating the sexy moves in today’s hottest music videos.

Jazz Funk
Love Britney and can’t get enough of Beyonce? This is the class to shake your booty like these sassy divas. Learn slick, sexy choreography just like in the videos with the hottest bootylicious moves to make you feel like a back-up dancer for the sultry sirens on stage.

Jukari
JUKARI Fit to Fly is a groundbreaking workout that gives the sensation of flying while strengthening and lengthening the body. Using a specially-designed piece of equipment called the FlySet, this 45-min workout targets cardio, strength, balance & core training.

Kick Boxing
A high-intensity boxing workout that includes kicking and muay thai fighting techniques.

Latin step
Classic cardio workout of Step combined with the passionate energy of Latin dance. Get ready to get down with the simple yet creative choreography on the platform – and get up with the vibe of sensual, sassy, sensational Latin rhythms!

Latin-house
A mixture of Latin and aerobic moves. The combination of Latin and house music are the main emotion of the workout.

Latin-street
A dance class that contains different styles - Latin, Reggae, jazz all rolled into one! Express yourself in various ways with this unique cocktail of movement. Easy enough for everyone to follow!

Latino Jam
A class consisting of short introductions to the basics of many latin dances including salsa, cha cha cha, rumba, merengue, lambada, samba, bachata. The pace is continous to keep the heart pumping and give you an all over body workout while at the same time enjoy the rhythms of hot latin music.

Legs, Bums & Tums
All Levels. A great class to start out with if you are new to exercise, are looking to work generally on your body and fitness, or to tone your lower body. Some classes use bands, tubes, weights or bars but equipment is always optional –every exercise can be done with or without.

Modern Dance
Ever thought it would be possible to feel relaxed after a dance class? Modern dance has just that effect – it is the movement of breath, expression, exploration and release. This class is for those who are willing to dive into an improvisational journey with an open mind and an open heart, as we will explore valuable concepts of dance such as: postural alignment and different qualities of movement through space, weight and time. Modern dance works with natural movement and breath allowing you to find peace of mind while discovering the dancer in you.

Muay Thai Boxing
Muay Thai style kick-boxing beginners’ class. Come and learn the basics of what has been described as 'the most devastating stand-up martial art in the world. Muay Thai is referred to as "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art.

NYC Dance
An open level dance class with influences from Jazz, Funk and Pop – using traditional dance techniques mixed with new and innovative choreography. Challenge your mind and body to embrace the movement and let the inner-dancer within you shine!

NYC Hip Hop
The true Hip Hop from the birth place of Hip Hop – New York City. Simple and fun choreography incorporating big movements and high energy, this class is all about unisex moves that are suitable for all people of all skill levels. Every class includes a core dancer`s workout, choreography learning and performance. Come and get your real NYC Hip Hop experience!

Pilates
All levels. A mat based functional exercise program that focuses on strengthening & lengthening the deeper muscles.

Polar Cycling
Each participant receives a numbered Polar Team2 Transmitter Belt that allows you to read your heart rate on the projector screen during class. Benefits include better understanding of your body and performance, assessment of the correct riding intensity and maximised training effort!

Pole Dancing 101
This is the easiest class that walks through the basics of pole dancing for absolute beginners. Students with experience in other styles of dance but no pole dancing experience, as well as those with no dance experience at all should start with this class.
Recommended attire: sports top, shorts, bare feet or socks & sneakers.

Bookings are required – please contact SoHo reception.

*Please refrain from using hand creams and oils on the day of your class as it makes the pole slippery and very dangerous.

Power Abs
Intensive class designed to hit your abdominals hard. Get the six-pack you’ve always wanted.

Power Hour
A condensed dynamic version of intermediate level Power 2 yoga. Flowing postures that focus on balance, strength, flexibility and inversions.

Power Yoga
All levels: A flowing sequence of postures that are synchronized with the breath aiding detoxification and purification of the body.

Pre-Natal Fitness
Light exercise class specificaly catering for pregnant women in their second or third trimester. Focusing on maintaining good health during pregnancy

Private class

Private Dance
Like to learn at your own pace? Want to improve your dance technique and style one-on-one? Preparing yourself for a special occasion or event? Private Dance is designed for you in mind. Classes can be booked in 45-minute blocks with one of our specialist dance instructors. Highly personalised learning that caters to whatever style or level of dance that you want.

Reggaeton
A mix of jazz funk, salsa and reggae, this is taking LA by storm! Thick beats and heavy bass to make your booty shake and quake like the hottest Latin dancers to Daddy Kanne, Little John and Chi Chi.

RPM
All levels. RPM is the ultimate calorie-killing studio cycling workout that burns up to 900 calories in just 45 minutes. You control the intensity, so RPM is ideal for any level of fitness.

RPM max
All levels. RPM is the ultimate calorie-killing studio cycling workout that burns up to 900 calories in just 60 minutes. You control the intensity, so RPM is ideal for any level of fitness.

Step Workout
All Levels. All Step Workouts are for mixed abilities. A fun, free-flowing workout with innovative moves that will get you moving, stepping and turning on, around and over the step board – all to motivating, upbeat music. Step One is a basic step class suitable for beginners. Bench & Sculpt/Step & Conditioning uses some basic steps with conditioning exercises. Step L2 and Step 2 The Max is a more advanced level requiring higher levels of co-ordination with challenging moves (and may also include the use of double step boards). Stepping is not only low-impact but an excellent cardio workout!

Stress Release
A class to release stress in the body AND the mind. Stretches to alleviate tension in areas such as the lower back and hamstrings with 5-10 mins of guided meditation to calm and focus the mind.

Stretch
A total body stretch class. Great for relaxing and stretching tight muscles. All levels welcome.

Stretch & Tone
Strengthen connective tissue and stretch muscles you thought you never had! All levels of fitness welcome.

Stretch/Abs
Combination of various abs strengthening and toning exercises as well as a total body stretch.

Stretching the Limits
This session is designed to increase mobility throughout the muscular structure, open joints and increase core strength. Breath is the main focus to allow for ultimate muscular release. Principles and techniques from Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Gyrokinesis are all explored.

TRX
A circuit workout that uses industrial strength nylon suspension cables with handles, attachable to any overhead anchoring point. Utilising your own body weight as resistance, there are about 400 exercises that can be performed ranging from the super easy to the super hard. This class targets your entire body and emphasises toning and strength building that help with day-to-day activities. A fun, innovative and effective total workout for all levels!

TRX Blast
A nonstop workout set to music, with a continuous flow of exercises to maintain cardio intensity.

TRX Circuit
Challenging interval training, with recovery segments after each round (Super Circuit = extra-long circuit class)

TRX Open Challenge

USA Boxing
Open to all levels – come learn traditional western style boxing while increasing your overall fitness. Be taught the proper technique of punching, self-defense, jump rope and the speed bag. Boxing is one of the best ways to get in top physical and mental shape. Never the same class twice, this results-driven workout utilises every muscle group to sculpt arms and legs while reducing body fat. Train like Olympic and pro athletes without actually fighting, unless you want to…

USA Sparring
All levels, women and men welcome. Sparring is the best method of training and essential to any boxer\'s programme whether amateur or professional. It is highly controlled "practice fighting" with the objective being to improve a boxer\'s technical skill and overall fitness. All sparring is supervised with a coach inside the ring, the goal is to learn and not to beat on your training partner or determine a winner. Prior to each sparring session, the coach will determine objectives – in body sparring, contact is made only to the upper torso, not to the head. Body sparring is often used for new boxers in contrast to open sparring where head contact is permitted.

When sparring, it is important to pair veterans with beginners as part of the learning curve. Your true boxing education begins here, as it is not about strength but reaction and technique, allowing each boxer to utilise accumulated training. Boxers are only using 60% of the power and speed when sparring to help refine execution and honing of skills. For safety, each boxer is required to have a mouth guard and hand wraps. A headgear and 16 oz. padded sparring gloves are provided. All female participants will spar with the coach only, in a modified sparring format.

To assure the safety of all, participants must have attended three USA Boxing classes prior to sparring.

Women-Only Boxing Circuit
Work on building proper boxing technique and improving cardiovascular fitness. Workouts focus on areas that women find important and cater to a woman’s physical build.

Yoga
All levels. A flowing sequence of postures that are synchronised with the breath aiding detoxification and purification of the body.
