The lighting was set, the judges were seated, and there was an air of anticipation as the audience waited for the competition to start. The nine contestants were a bundle of nerves as they quietly waited for their time to perform.
Anty, Christy, Maggie, Nataliia, Terumi, Diana, Yvonne, Prudence and Mariko came from all walks of life - a student, recruitment agency, IT, pharmaceutical sales analyst, language school, relocation business, fashion accessories designer, finance industry - and almost as many nationalities.
The three judges - Ania Przeplasko, Cristo Zablah and Marsha Yuan - were impressed by the skill, flair, creativity and beautiful, albeit cheeky, costumes. The audience also got to weigh in on their favourite contestant.
And the winner is:
Best Performance Prize ($2,500 Pure Retail voucher) - Diana Danyi
Best Costume Prize ($1,500 Showtime Lingerie gift package) - Prudence Fong
Most Creative Flair Prize ($1,500 lululemon athletica gift voucher) - Nataliia Bikmullina
Audience Favourite Prize ($1,000 Pure Dining voucher) - Diana Danyi
